Medium Pressure. Individual Skill.
I. Dribbling
-Review dribbling with all parts of both feet
-Emphasize evasion through changes in speed and direction
-Fakes: "Scissors," "Step-overs", body fakes (Coerver skills
page)
-Skill Moves: "Pull backs," cuts with the inside/outside of the
foot, "rolls" (all directions) with sole of foot, Cruyff (Coerver,
1,000 touches)
II. Passing
-Highly technical, focusing on accuracy with both feet (within 5
to 10 yds)
III. Receiving
-Receiving with the inside of both feet, emphasis on "readiness"
-Receiving on the move and taking a first touch that will set up
the second touch
IV. Shooting/Striking
-Highly technical, focusing on accuracy with laces, (within
short ranges) -Intro to flighted ball
V. Juggling
-Stress beating their own best number of juggles
-Stress use of left and right feet
VI. Intro Tactical
-Intro 2v1 passing (Beating the defender by using second
attacker in supporting role both in front of and behind the ball
-Intro communication
