Jung Yun - Team Coach
Jung Yun has been active in the soccer communities in Nashville, TN and the Bay Area for 20 years. In Tennessee, Jung played competitive soccer for the GreenWaves receiving All-State and All-Region honors in 1992 and 1993. After moving to San Francisco, she captained the Mad Dog women's soccer team, leading the team to promotions from the 3rd Division to the Premier Division in the Golden Gate Women's Soccer League.
Jung has coached soccer for YMCA Stonestown in San Francisco and SoccerKids in Marin. In 2002, Jung served as Chair of Hands On San Francisco Day, partnering with the women's professional soccer team, Bay Area Cyber Rays, to bring over 1,000 volunteers together for a city-wide community service day.
Jung is a Grade 7 USSF Referee, holds a CYSA E/D coaching license, and received her BA in Communication Studies from Vanderbilt University. |
