 2011 Entry Level USSF Referee Course
TPSC is hosting two Grade 8 Referee Courses this summer!
1. CANCELLED July Course - Strawberry Recreation - Barn (lower level next to the office), 118 E Strawberry Drive, Mill Valley
July 22, 6:00-9:00
July 23, 9:00-3:00

NOTE: this course is for adults, or, older youth by approval
2. August Course - Strawberry Recreation - Loft (3rd floor room above the gym), 118 E Strawberry Drive, Mill Valley

August 3, 9:00-3:00
August 4, 9:00-12:00
August 5, 9:00-12:00
· Cost for the course is $75.
· Priority will be given to TPSC Competitive Parent Referees and TPSC family members who are 12 years of age and older.
· The course fee will be reimbursed to individuals who pass the exam and referee at least 5 TPSC league games.
· Space is limited so please sign up early.

TPSC holds one or more referee trainings each year. If these dates don't work out for you, see below for other local courses that you may take.

All courses are Grade 8, except where indicated
Grade 8= 18 hour course, can referee all competitive & rec matches
Grade 9= 8 hour "rec" course, it is CYSA policy that Grade 9 referees cannot officiate competitive or older rec matches (we do not recommend the Grade 9 course and it does not fulfill the requirements for our competitive teams)

* Our policy is to pay for the course and initial registration
for anyone who intends to referee in the TPSC after they referee at least 5 TPSC games.
* Tiburon will reimburse referee license fee
for courses taken elsewhere (but talk to John FIRST as we may be
able to arrange a quid pro quo with the other club!).
* Non-Sharks members may participate in these courses -space permitting. There will be a fee for materials and instructor.

(must be 11
on August 1).

Renew or Lapsed Licenses
If you took the basic soccer referee course and have received a license from the USSF, you must register each year.
If you forgot to register and your license has lapsed within the last few years, you may be able to reinstate your license by taking a Refresher Course sponsored by the USSF.
Check the D5 Clinic schedule for the nearest refresher course.
