Coaches Wanted
Southern Marin Soccer Club Seeks Coaches:
We are looking for coaches with experience and coaching credentials to coach some of our competitive teams and run our Winter and Spring Clinics.
We are also looking for new or recently licensed coaches who would like to develop within our club as we have a very good coach mentoring program in place and you would have the opportunity to develop in our Recreational soccer program in the fall as well as shadow coaches during our winter and spring clinics.
Coaches need to available from 3:30 to 6:00 p.m, two days per week plus games on the weekend. Pay will be set relative to experience and credentials. Practices take place on a number of fields approximately 10 minutes north of the Golden Gate Bridge in Marin County, California.
Coaches should have the ability to:
• Provide Age Appropriate Coaching
• Motivate performers
• Communicate effectively with kids and parents
• Make things FUN.
• Use time efficiently and effectively
• Forward plan
• Develop an appropriate level of technical knowledge
• Observe and analyze skills and make improvements
• Make use of appropriate equipment and adapt if necessary
• Evaluate all coaching sessions
